Wellness
Exams
An annual wellness examination
is very important to evaluate
your pet’s overall health and to detect problems before
they turn into serious illnesses. Because your pet can’t
tell you in word how he is feeling, therefore a thorough
physical examination and your observations of your pet is
necessary. Based on the results of the examination, further
diagnostic tests, such as blood tests, radiographs (x-rays)
and ECG may be recommended. Cats and dogs should visit the
veterinarian for their wellness examination once a year
and every six months when they reach their senior years. |

Vaccination
(Immunization)
Immunizing your pet against disease is one of the best
tool of preventive medicine. Vaccination is an inexpensive
protection rather than costly treatment. Vaccinations
depend upon region, pet’s age, life style and their
health conditions. At the present time available vaccines
are as follows;
DOGS: distemper,
adenovirus, leptospirosis, parvo, corona, bordetella,
lyme and rabies.
CATS: panleukopenia (distemper), herpesvirus,
calici, chlamydia, feline leukemia & FIP.
